In the far west of Mongolia are the Altai Mountains marking the border to Russia and China. The peaks of the Altai, especially the Tavan Bogd Mountains are very appealing for mountain climbers and Nomads is offering support for their journeys, has a few program suggestions for them.

Additionally to the technical climbing of the highest peaks of Mongolia, we offer trekking expeditions through many of the alpine areas in western Mongolia, around the beautiful Otgon Tenger Mountain in the Western Khangai Mountains, the Turgen and Kharkhira mountains and in the ranges that surround the Altai Tavan Bogd.

Nomads would supply qualified support in regard to transport, food and equipment as well as find suitable guides that know the mountains and are experienced in the area.
